I'm going to take a guess, purely on instinct, that the differentiation is only relevant to pills, not to foods. Since pills are an extract and small, they would just pull the salient parts. But food should have the whole K spectrum. Just like when you get sun, you don't just get D2 or D3, you get D.

I neglected mention yesterday that spinach is loaded with K. I forgot about it because I quit eating it after I developed a problem with kidney stones. That's when I switched to cilantro. But spinach is more conventional and you can eat it in servings rather than just as a garnish.
