"I don't think they understand how crazy and dangerous they sound." What is worse is how Palin's rallies have been going. They are feeding on very dark energies with death threats and jingoism. From a politically pragmatic view, this is stupid. It guarantees a loss. If one turns into a riot, say attacking the press that is present there, then that will cement it. With Palin playing up that she was victimized by an ambushing FCM, there is a very good chance that could happen.
