And Obama's apparent lie on the subject makes it even more important. A presidential candidate has no right to privacy about his adult history. You can argue that wives, children, etc., do, but not a candidate. McCain has made public a full 1100 pages of medical records. And the liberals still want more. It is damned sure appropriate to demand an answer from Obama how an apparently poor individual who has held no meaningful employment could afford to go to Harvard. When he lies about the answer, which he did, then it becomes not only appropriate but a responsibility for someone to get answers to the questions created by his lying about it. It is not McCarthyism to insist that we know everything about a presidential candidate's past history, particularly when that candidate has been so relentless in hiding facts from the American public and the liberal media has failed to perform even the most basic functions of vetting him.
