Inode, I'm going by a personal code of moral values here, which may differ from others.

To me, romantic relationships while in office are fair game. To most liberals and many conservatives, that should be off-limits, and I understand that.

To me, something as mundane as how one finances his or her education is off-limits, because that's just digging way too deep in mundane matters. You can argue that for the highest office in the free world, everything ought to be a matter of public record, but if that's the case, why not also investigate all of the schoolyard fights Obama got himself into when he was growing up?

And what's the motivation for digging so deep? To find something, anything with which to nail Obama? Take a step back and see what is already known about Obama without having to dig so deep. Is that sufficient to make a judgement about him one way or the other?

I think for everyone on this thread, it is.

To a select group which excluded virtually all of the journalists with a medical background. And they were only given a couple of hours to look through the small fraction he released.

When Kerry did a much more generous release of his military records, the Republic was in danger...
