Yes, you keep repeating that idea with different phrasing.

But again "not existing before" doesn't mean that it would go away now.

There is a lot more demand for such a product than there was in the past. An organization doesn't have to be federally sponsored in order to buy up paper for long term fixed mortgages (and if it really did that would be a sign that there is a problem with the activity in question in the first place)
