If I had posted some article by some author of fiction who someone here liked, calling Obama a terrorist, or the moral equivalent of a terrorist, without posting my or someone else's comment about how this idea was false, I think people here would legitimately take offense to the post, even if I didn't specifically say it was my opinion. And that's about one of the candidates for president, who in my opinion (and yes this applies to McCain as well in the context of his campaign, or his senatorial record, or his political statements, or possibly even his personal life) is far more fair game for harsh attacks than someone serving his country honorably in a war is (in this case McCain in another context, but by extension everyone who served in Vietnam)
