Can't say I got out of VCLK in time, but I got out a few months ago. There are some screaming bargains out there now, but everyone is too scared to buy. We need some clarity that there is not a complete global meltdown on the horizon.

On the other hand, if there is a complete meltdown, and my bank doesn't fail, I wouldn't mind being able to buy a nice house in San Francisco for $100,000!

Really hard to understand how falling home prices and a few defaults in the subprime mortgage market can produce the current chaos.

Taro, I pray you and yours are alright. The earthquake was about 70 miles northeast of Rome and Umbria is 120 miles north of Rome.
