Tim, you can make all the bland assertions of opinion as fact you want. That seems to be your job here. "Many Democrats do it all the time" is a pretty broad brushism and I don't think it's worth addressing. Personally, the thing with Palin is it's pretty clear she hasn't much of a clue on a broad swath of national and international issues. These are troubling times. You and Palin are free to play the guilt by association game 24/7 till election day if you want. Thing is, Bush came into office with budget surpluses on the book and the economy in pretty good shape. He's going to leave his successor monster deficits and the economy in shambles. It's going to be really difficult for whoever succeeds Bush. I can't for the life of me see what the point is of discussing all the culture war themes Palin and LindyBill's political "professionals" seem to want this election to be about.
