Well, I admire you for being willing to put all that effort into a delicious pot of soup. I'd rather do something else all day then just empty the contents of soup starter into the pot with some previously boiled chicken parts. It has very good flavor for packaged stuff.. but I doubt I can convince you of that. ggg

Have you ever used chicken parts from a Costco or other prepared Deli chicken... They work too, on a quicker basis....
