I just watched Dick Morris on Fox wiggle and wiggle about how he now supported abuse of executive power if it was in the interests of Public Safety. (He actually said that). So much for rule of law, I guess.

Trooper Wooten may be a bad guy (but he is still on the force), but he did have a full and complete hearing on his alleged bad acts before the board given the authority to do so. They disciplined him to the extent they (the appropriate disciplinary board), felt appropriate. But the Palin family felt more was justified....so it appears Todd (the out of control husband) started exercising certain powers of the office of the governor to intimidate and suggest additional actions against Wooten. The Governor is criticized for not putting a muzzle on her husband, who was acting like co-governor.

Wooten may be a bad, bad guy, but the proper disciplinary board had acted against him. If Dick Morris is then saying that the executive can rightfully use her powers against somebody like this on a vendetta basis because they "know better" than the government body given authority to review claims and administer discipline, well...let's just crown her and get it over with.

I would also fire a trooper who tazed a 10 year old child, are you kidding me? You can make that an issue, but it only shows how afraid you are of Palin...

The investigative report concludes that a family grudge wasn't the sole reason for firing Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan but says it likely was a contributing factor.

How the Fluck did they figure that out? Is the investigator a mind reader?

lol

What a joke....
