Kim, a violent rally is possible, but if the short have used this 11 MM shares decline to cover some of their position, the fuel is a;ready spent. Furthermore, I know not how much of the short position is well hedged with the floorless preferred issue, so just half of the float is no big deal. Ask your broker if they will short it for you. If the answer is no, it could be that no more shares are out there for lending, then a small short squeeze could be in the offing.

Kimberley,

Where did you obtain that short interest figure? I thought that short interest was only reported once a month for NASDAQ issues, and the last figures I have seen were for September, which showed 4.6 million shares short ( viwes.com )

where did you see the short position? Is this the new short position for October; or the old one for Sept? Because if the short position is really what you think it is; then yes, why not a short squeeze?

Out.
