Of the three, I think the Odingo connection could be pretty explosive, since it is so well documented.

Why is it foreign policy only seems to involve Iraq, Iran, etc. Seems to me foreign policy with nations in Africa is also important. And Obama actively supported a communist who wanted to impose Islamic law on Kenyans.

Why? Just because the guy was his cousin?

Just another indication of how radically left he is. And it lines up with other people he supported and "hung out with" like Ayers, Wright and others.

Unless you think all the polls are untrustworthy, McCain is going to need a bona fide October Surprise to pull this one out.

Considering the extreme volatility of the race so far, and the ability of "reputable" polls, all claiming 4% margin of error, to differ by 10% or more, I think everybody sensible must regard all the polls as untrustworthy.

Seriously, I think at least 10% of the vote is sloshing around in the middle, only lightly attached to any candidate, and I don't see any sign that they have settled down yet. That 10% has switched alliances twice in the last six weeks.

The only surprise I can imagine would be if Big Media payed any attention to the mountain of bad news for Obama already on the table. That would be a true October surprise.
