See my post of may be a year ago or more where I put the question to SI "what is real money those days?" unfortunate I do not have the answer and for sure it is not even gold.

Therefore again I ask - what is today representative of the "real money" I know that confetti paper with numbers on it abounds and people call it money

Hi TJ.. regarding food riots, the USA has plenty of food also but its not the supply of food that worries me its the transportation of food from farm to market, its the peripheral costs/issues of food production such as fertilizer (mfg from petrolum products), energy input required, etc, etc

I view these as concerns for the USA. Why not for China also.
