How did these people ever pass their government classes?

I don't think they did.

Like I pointed out before, they remind me of our architectural control committee we had in Montgomery. The head told me that the deed restrictions didn't matter, they won the election and can do anything they want, just like Congress...

How did these people ever pass their government classes?

How the heck did you pass? A homeowners architectural committee is not local government, it is a Dictatorships established by your deed. Their amount of control varies depending on the wording of your deed and homeowners covenant.
