The great fear is the reach down ticket. There are a lot of seats that should be solid, but are now in play. Heck, there are even seats that should be solid and now are likely out of reach. Any more negatives and it could look like a shutout.

Ed Rollins, the GOP strategist, is saying the number of GOP Senate seats up for grab has increased from 8 to 12 in the last few weeks.

A so badly crippled Republican party would be a bad thing for this country. Single party rule always is, sooner or later.

Yes, but Republicans are so unrepentent, I don't see them getting their act together until they get seriously punished. The GOP can't come back as a strong party until it finds its bottom......and unfortunately, for them, they appear to have a low bottom. Its that denial gene.
