That's a very impressive idea, assuming you have a suitable home...

I suppose that if you were terminally ill in my house, then three teenagers, a toddler and two dogs would probably reconcile you to death very fast. But I wouldn't call it a peaceful way to go.

I hooked my dad up with hospice recently though I had to drag my folks kicking and screaming into it (they don't like strangers in their house).

Despite their reluctance they are now huge fans of hospice, the service is incredible.
