I'm getting my new 36v DS 109 trolling motor delivered Fri. from Motorguide. I fished the BWS regional w/o a TM for a 1 3/4 days, and missed qualifying for BWS nationals by 7lbs or 2 fish! I got it fixed yesterday it was a shorted wire probably caused by the hour long ride on rough water day one. Now I have a spare for the last tournament of the year.<g> I also got my boat back yesterday, they used the wrong gasket on the oxygen sensor causing an oil leak leading to performance problems. I burned $175 gas and almost 2gal oil on 115mi run on day1, obviously I didn't do that day2 without a trolling motor. I had a couple of good spots producing 4-5lbers in practice but a cold front moved in before game day moving the shad and fish off my spots, making for a tough tournament, that's fishing. It will take 20lbs a day to win here, maybe 18? 70-80lbs? They're in the grass!
