Paul,
I see plenty of adds for K6's and see some in boxes in retail stores.
That still doesn't shed a lot of light on their yields. Who knows how many they had to throw in the trash bin before they figured it out...so say they have.
AMD obviously sheds new light on the phrase..."Make the chips first and worry about making money later."
Intel, as big and fat as they are is pretty effiecient at making chips. AMD has a tough road to hoe.
On the other hand, Cyrix/NSM has a unique product and is exploring new areas of the marketing spectrum with it. A much greater chance of success than AMD, wouldn't you think?
