Procrastination is fun, except when it costs you money.There are certain engines that a timing belt can fail at high RPM and there are no consequences, other than replacing the timing belt. Others, depending on age, the scrap yard is the destination..Toyota and Honda i know,,, ya don't want to ignore the due timing belt otherwise scrap yard bound usually. There are many advantages to driving a beater,it has a calming effect on the neighbourhood, <g> many don't cotton to people that appear too successful, harboring silly resentment, but that is the way some are. There was a letter to the editor in our paper from a local doctor who had his belly full from having both he and his wife's car keyed, dented and generally vandalized on several occasions.He did not mention what they were driving but i presumed new top end models.He was thinking of relocating to another city and the vandalism was encouraging the move.It is sad that some are jealous of other peoples hard work and success...we need public caning for some in Canada.<g>
