I had a tv go through a flood in '06. It had a rainbow ghost going through it until......I guess.......it finally dried up inside. It's worked great ever since. Sat for 4 months without heat. It didn't get near the water, it was just wet in the cabin.

I'm just starting to think about a flat panel. I'm more interested in size right now, rather than brand. When I look at all the models displayed at Walmart I can barely see a difference in the quality of the picture. I don't think the brand matters that much anymore. BWDIK!
