I think the kids looked a little confused, like they were trying to figure out who was the daddy. I'm sure that terrifies the right wingnuts, but kids deal with confusion all the time at that age. I'm sure they'll figure it out, and grow up to be more tolerant people.

Congrats, you're right about something - it wasn't appropriate. However, you're still wrong to insist it was solely the parents who took the kids out of school for the wedding. There's nothing in the story to indicate that at all. IOW, you're making that part up.
