Hi Paul - I topped my plate off with my final purchase of ULTR. If it was a buy at $12, then at $3.50 it must be a steal. Remember that those barges will haul all the fertilizer (Potash from supplier BG) from the ports to the fields and then move the soybeans from the fields to the ports.

Looking to nibble at some more stocks today but am cautious.

BG - they initiate a takeover (Corn Products) just before the market crashed, so i do not think that tangible books is going to look as good and debt will be going up. I think you will need to look at proforma numbers corrected for the merger adjustments to determine if you like it. Try ADM without the hassle. I am looking at that one.

Boy, I've been through the crash of '87, and various other corrections, but this one just feels different. It's relentless, like drip torture.
At least we got things resolved in '87 in fairly rapid fashion. There are so many unknowns with the situation we are in now, and mistrust of those who are at the helm. It would seem that valuations are at ridiculously low levels, but the market is saying that it is hard to quantify exactly where the economy is headed.
