Oh, I definitely understand what is going on. What most don't realize is that we have had 8 years of a very dangerous shift to the extreme right, where the wealthy have grown richer by leaps and bounds while everyone else has stagnated. That is an existential problem for a Democracy, like I explained before.

Although, many choose to be alarmed by Obama, really what he's talking about is a practical shift back to middle ground, that balances the need to have a vibrant, competitive marketplace, with a progressive tax structure that ensures that the rich, who have benefited most from our system of government and economy, also make it possible for the rest of us to move up through hard work.

It's time for an adjustment back to center. Just remember what I said earlier. The further right you push the pendulum, the further left will be the initial backswing, until the system reaches equilibrium in the center. Everything in life works that way. We are now experiencing it in our politics.
