Rambi;

I've always been on the side of Flat Taxes, so am trying to think about this in a very broad sense... what does our economy need now.

Flat taxes would be crushing to the money small business owners make - but I too favor a flat tax.

What does our economy need now? To readjust. Bernanke is trying with his helicopter to prevent that just as Greenspan did. Unfortunately it didn't work when Greenspan tried and it won't work with bernanke - all IMHO.

Trying to boil this down to "you're either with Joe, or against him,." seemed way too simplistic.

I agree. Joe has had his 15 minutes, as far as I'm concerned. But I don't think that the original frame I posted is too simplistic. I think that gets to the essence of it.

"The current election is in part a referendum on Rawls versus Nozick."
