Z, > Because you say so?

Don't give me this B.S. I don't think anyone knows what's coming in the next year, especially with the current financial crisis and the huge-ass bailout plan, which thus far hasn't done a damn thing to restore confidence in our economy.

It's reasonable to assume that the plan Obama has right now is not the plan that he will implement once he's in office. So how can we be sure that whatever he does, he will not raise taxes on anyone making less than $250K/year? Because HE says so? Give me a break, Obama isn't making any promises he can't back away from in two seconds.

And I don't expect him too, either. This is a man who looks like he wants to keep his options open. But I sure don't see many available options in the forseeable future. Hence, when push comes to shove, where is Obama going to end up? I can almost guarantee you that he won't end up where his original plan placed him.

To see how he would solve problems today. To judge whether he can be trustworthy, or whether his promises are just too good to believe. To determine what are his underlying, fundamental principles that guide his decisions. And of course, to determine whether his stated positions of today reflect qualities of leadership and character that we really could use in a president.

> Thanks for the cliche.

Grow up.
