Two points:

1) Joe the Plumber is not quite who he says he is:

... He's not licensed
... he's not likely to own a plumbing business anytime soon
... he not making anywhere near $100,000 , let alone $250,000
... he owes back taxes to the state of Ohio

2) The income tax has been levied on a graduated scale for decades. Property taxes are also graduated in the sense that more wealthy homeowners (those with more expensive homes) pay more taxes.

Both democrats and republicans have supported this... gasp... "radical ideology"... for decades and apparently didn't realize that until Palin arrived.

This interview is just more empty rhetoric designed to scare the uninformed and serve red meat to Palin's dwindling base.
