You don't think Powell has a deep resentment of the neocon machine? I can definitely see him backing Obama, he doesn't need the party machine anymore.

McCain's decision to select Palin as VP totally ruined any chance he had to win over the majority of the crucial moderate and swing voters...and Colin Powell will NOT endorse the reckless judgement of John McCain...we may see Powell remain "nuetral" on Sunday or I think he may now choose to put country first and actually endorse Obama...stay tuned and watch Meet The Press...;-)
