Agreed, we have to see how Obama puts his large congressional majorities to work; he could validate Karen's fears than an unchecked party in DC will give in to its own worst impulses; or he could use it as results-oriented platform for things like capital markets reform and for once, not let the people's business get derailed by the people's politicians. We will probably have a whole new game here in a few weeks, waiting to see if Obama lives up to the various hopes each one of us has pinned on him. But that's a lot better than the last eight years of watching our worst fears be confirmed over and over. Watching McCain speaking in VA now, they have a gaggle of little kids behind him holding up "Country First" signs while he talks about tax policy. Like I'm sure they are cheering him on based on the issues, LOL. I was glad to see Biden go after Palin when she gaffed the "parts of the country that love America" and had to backtrack. It's about time the Dems fight to reclaim patriotism.
