We will probably have a whole new game here in a few weeks, waiting to see if Obama lives up to the various hopes each one of us has pinned on him. But that's a lot better than the last eight years of watching our worst fears be confirmed over and over. Beautifully stated, Dale. We all do have different hopes vested in an Obama Presidency, don't we? I share Karen's fears but am more than willing to support a Dem takeover and find out what they will do with that opportunity. Being Blue Doggie, I'm hoping for an Obama administration that's mindful of adding much to our government debt by trying to reflate the economy too much with short term stimulus. If anyone can thread that needle successfully, however, it would be Obama, I think. So I'm feeling rather hopeful right now. I know one thing for sure. If somehow McCain-Palin won, I will be physically and mentally ill for months before resignation sets in. Seriously....I'm not being hyperbolic here. :(
