Still 22% undecided--that's doubtful, many don't want to say who they'll vote for in the privacy of the polling booth. That's until Democrats, if given the chance, eliminate the secret ballot as they're planning to do for union members.

Gains for McCain:

IBD/TIPP Tracking Poll: Day Seven

Posted: Sunday, October 19, 2008

After three days of gains by Obama, McCain bounced back, reducing his opponent's lead from approximately 7 points to 5. McCain was helped by a jump in rural support from 50% to 56%, and by gains among people making $30k - $50k (7 point gain to 42%) and $50k - $75k (4 point gain to 35%). The race for Independents remains close with 40% favoring Obama, 38% supporting McCain and 22% still undecided.
