But with the support of Reid & Pelosi, I think it is highly likely we'll see at least one additional crippling social program on the scale of Medicare or Social Security. My bet would be a socialized, government sponsored health care system -- which will totally destroy the best health care system in the world. You'll see the profits taken out of the drug business, which will kill the R&D for new medicines (and which will have adverse impacts on not only the US, but the entire world). And you'll see the smartest people in the country moving OUT of health care (where they currently are) toward other fields in which they have the possibility to make a decent living. It is serious. These idiots will run this country in the ground in the blink of an eye.

Ted, the fact that you are answering like such a pompous ass is evidence that NOTHING will change once Obama is elected. You said bad things about the ONE. Excuse me......do you think things have been run well under Bush? I don't. What most of us are hoping is that that will change under Obama. If he does manage just that, his presidency will be hugely transformational.
