That sums up my position. I won't feel confident until we see today's poll numbers on November 3, and the clock has run out on McCain.

That said, I look at what McCain is trying to throw at Obama to get back into the game, and his "catalysts" are falling flat so far. It's hard to get far opposing redistribution of wealth when Wall Street fat cats just robbed us all blind.

The rising level of frustration and anger on conservative threads is an indication, and the attacks on anything on the left that moves, also.

Is anyone on those threads debating why their guy is trailing, or is it all just anger vented outward to blame others?

Rambi you speak for me. The viciousness of the attacks are increasing and a great deal of it is making those zealot Republicans even more vociferous and angry. I just believe exactly as you do. And we haven't even begun to worry about
the voter fraud which we all have experienced in the 2000 elections. Gore wins the popular vote and loses the elections because of machinations in Florida.
