I;m puzzled by the outraged response to Biden's statement, at least the part of it I read. There have been pundits on tv discussing the likelihood of some kind of "test" of a new president. I would imagine it would happen with either, but perhaps it's more likely with Obama because of the change of party. Still, it seems a logical surmise. NK, Iran, Russia, other ME countries-- they all must be wondering what they'll be dealing with. I didn't automatically assume another 9-11, more a test that would help gauge the reactions of the new admin. Was it Biden's delivery, which occasionally sounds sort of undisciplined? Why was it considered a huge gaffe?
