Todd,

With regard to NM, Louis Gutentag of JP Morgan asked Pete Musser (CEO)about "small positions" (e.g., Sybase and NM) and what SFE was doing. Sybase will completely sold off by this quarter. Pete said they were very active on the board of NM, had lent them their best operations guy, that they were working to straighten things out, and moving toward a strategic merger that would benefit shareholders.

Donald Caldwell (COO) asked Musser, for clarification, if there was an announcement or if they were just working on things. Pete said that there was "no announcement."

You can hear the call using real audio here: vcall.com, and they are supposed to have transcripts later.

So, I guess this leaves us waiting still. Perhaps there are things more in the works than the conf. call would indicate? I'm beginning to feel like this will be another 6 months. How about you?
