I'm not sure she's more ignorant than the other candidates, she is just probably the least skilled at hiding when she is ignorant, or alternatively not hiding it but smoothly making the ignorance seem reasonable or just changing the subject. Which isn't to say that there is no defect involved here. Smoothness and the ability to project confident competence (whether or not your confident or know what your talking about), while potentially dangerous, is a useful ability, and not just in terms of being useful to help win elections.
