Tim,

Fact check may get things wrong and/or we may disagree with their interpretations, but they are nonpartisan, which is what I like. I don't get the partisan interpretations/spin that I see elsewhere.

I don't see the 2 linked sites as being non-partisan(even though the Cato institute says they are, they have a heavy libertarian point of view which skews their opinions).

As to Palin, I have looked at a lot of things in her record and the one that, to me, is the biggest red flag is her building of that sports center on land they didn't have title to. I will make an assumption that there were plenty of other sites that they could have placed this center where clear title could have been established. Why was this center built on land that they did not have title to? I really would like to hear a good explanation for this.

Neal

>>Fact check could use its own facts checked some times.<<

Tim -

The first link in your post is to a Cato Institute piece about an Associated Press fact checking piece. It has nothing to do with FactCheck.org.

The second piece is a highly biased opinion piece, essentially.

If you want to ignore a reputable, non-partisan organization that is doing a good job of checking the claims of both sides of this campaign, that's your privilege. But you might want to get your facts straight when you critique them.
