You said the poor are better off in this country vis a vis other countries. That suggests they have no room to complain.

Its stating the facts, it doesn't suggest much of anything beyond that. Not in isolation. I would suggest more than that (see below) but the mere statement of the facts doesn't do it by itself.

.inspite of the fact the report I posted to you yesterday shows very clearly that the US is third out of 30 countries for poor income distribution

I care about the absolute wealth of the poor, I care very little about how our income is distributed compared to how other countries is distributed. Its not like there is some central distribution point, people earn the wealth and then they have it. If the poor in the US are as well off as the poor in other wealthy countries (and far better than the poor people in poor or "middle class" countries) and they are also wealthier than they used to be (and they are), that isn't a sign of a problem. If our rich are wealthier than the rich in other countries that also isn't a problem, its a good thing not a bad one. If I could press a button and double the real wealth of the top 10% (real wealth, from new production, not grabbed from others), than I would do so.

Why is this a good thing....that the rich in this country are richer?

How can you think its a bad thing? Additional wealth of some, without others having less wealth means some benefit without hurting others. So its a good thing.

You seem to be so in to the politics of envy that you want to pull people down even if it doesn't raise other people up.
