I think it's time I seek out an attorney who has some experience in this kind of case.

I know all too well how many people are worse off than we are. But, if State Farm continues to drag their feet, in my opinion, we're going to be in that same boat with them. No home but a mortgage to pay, no money in savings left because we tried in vain to save our home.

The insurance companies stress protecting your valuable asset, your home. We have done that but I feel it's all been in vain now. If we can't get some help here, our home is going to be a loss.

It rained again last night, we had a cold front move in. Water got in again from the damaged fireplace. I called the contractor and he said he would go dry that area out again. Since we have cooler air and low humidity, that will help. Lucky for us they can't do any sheet rocking inside around the fireplace or that would have to come back out too.
