THEY are the ones telling people that NO tax will increase if you make less than $250K They would probably tell you that FICA is not a tax, its your money going into SS and will be returned to you when you retire.

Of course you weren't talking about FICA, the highly REGRESSIVE TAX that balances out the progressive federal income tax. The entire reason federal tax needs to be progressive is because FICA is so regressive. What is so amazing is that your side would look a gift horse in the mouth like you are doing. By harping on a FLAT TAX, you are going to get payroll taxes raised to 100% of income. That will cost you much more than today's punitive regressive tax system that we have. You should go shoot yourself for idiocy. I actually want fica taxes to be raised to 100% of income because I think it will force the govt to shut off social security and medicare which are scams that the old use to ripoff the young.
