Yes, it will be interesting with 6-10B humans fascinated with property rights won't it? Which is partly why I claim we won't see another ice age, given functional brains in our offspring over the next few 10's of K years. And no, the problem is not the next few decades for that.

Have you ever considered given your recent fascination with the sun "going out" (LOL!) that a nice sized volcano has significantly MORE cooling forcing on the globe (for a couple of years anyway) than does a solar minimum? No doubt that is what starts your snowball earth sequence. Oh, mybad, it must be a big volcano happening around a solar minimum. Surely that would do the trick?
