I wouldn't wonder if the new financial order includes some kind of debt handling for USA. Like freezing some of the debt or something else. Based on the idea, that the world economy is better off if USA works well, than if USA goes down.

the consensus amonst the 53+ years old (folks who saw more than the usual 35 years youngsters) group i hang out with, and out of the the only i can be remotely characterized as a 'golg bug' which i am not, believe gold can hit 2000 in 18 months

i do not have a feel, actually, but it is the first time i hear other folks express such views in person, as opposed to the 'crazies' on internet
