Yeah, those people earning $250,000 sure do buy a lot of Yachts...lolol

So what you are saying is that you do not want to pay more in taxes, but the people paying $250,000 or more should for whatever reason...even thought they already pay so much more than you, at a higher rate plus dollars. Got it.

When the majority of Americans do well, the rich do well as well. The reverse is not true.

The point of right wingers is that they DO NOT WANT the majority of Americans to do well. They want a return to aristocracy which, just like Bush's musings on dictatorship, is great for them as long as they are the aristocrats.

Right wingers have no concept of fairness. They complain about socialism when it means health care for poor babies but embrace socialism when it means bail outs for incompetent investment bankers.

That massive 84% increase in the national debt under Bush has gone into the pockets of his BASE, the haves and have mores...there is no end to their greed. That is all the Republikan party is upset about now. Their gravy train is ending and they are throwing tantrums like the little children they are.

No, I support dropping the tax cuts to the rich, but keeping them for the middle class

Taxes go up and down over time as political and fiscal situations change.

If we cancel out, avoid, or reverse any tax cuts for the rich, than every time taxes go up they go up for the rich (perhaps just for the rich), and every time they go down, the rich don't get any lower taxes.

So then your have a built in ratchet where taxes for the rich only go up, and over time they go up, and up, and up.

Maybe I'm reading your wrong, and you think there is something highly specific about the latest broad based tax cuts (broad based obviously including tax cuts for the rich, but not being limited to such cuts), and that in the past you didn't have problems with such cuts, and in the future you would be ok with tax cuts for the rich.

But if you are not just against these cuts, but any tax cuts for the rich ever, your basically setting us up for socialism.
