Yes, I would say that, in general, my stance is relative to the times and the situation. If we find ourselves in a position to lower taxes across the board again - possibly even restoring the tax cuts to today's levels - I'd probably be for it. To me, that situation would have to include at least a balanced budget, if not a surplus, and a ban on drunken sailors (from either party) within the limits of DC.

I do worry that an entirely Democratic Congress and President may be akin to breaking open the rum on shore leave, but right now, I trust them more than the clowns who got us into this mess. I actually believe Obama will be a centrist, like Clinton, which may be a rude awakening to the left wing...
