<<Blaming the booze merchant instead of the drunk is ridiculous.>>

Maurice,
Agreed. Booze or drug dealer should not be hold responsible for the products he sells. AG was the manufacturer of the drug called money and responsible for the street pushers while they acted to give it free of charge to hook more people on. Tobacco companies were never allowed to do that, their products were always taxed heavily, in the end they are losing the shirt anyway. WAS he drunk or blind to the practice of his distributors? While being drunk or blind is not a criminal offence, driving under the influence always was, and blind people don't ask for driving licence. If you cause an accident while being stoned your insurance won't cover the damage or injuries you caused. The courts will go after you, you and your family will pay for your ignorance, in most of the cases end up with the time to be served. That scenario applies in whole civilised world.

Since when the top cop is trusting others?

<< You can't be serious, but it doesn't look like a joke.>>

I'm the last person to prosecute anybody, even Alan Greenspan. It is the system we are in which is blood thirsty.
