I hear you. What'd you think of Bush Sr? I thought he was a decent man and a good President. Of course, the American people saw that and immediately voted him out of office the next term. LOL!<<

With all due respect mindmeld, president bush, IMO, was a clone of Reagan and an intellectual lightweight with questionalle values. He followed Reagans budget policies and ran the same 250 billion deficits. He destroyed unions with the same zeal as Reagan and helped the rich more than the poor.

His values were horrible. His pick of Dan Quayle says it all. He raised children with terrible values.

He lost to Clinton. Surely Clinton did better than Bush

Bush ran a dirty campaign (Willy Horton ad). One can see the parent through the eyes of their children. I watched bush sr rationalize lil bush not protesting the Viet nam war.

Look at what kind of children bush sr raised! Where is their humanity?

The first thing lil bush did was cut taxes on the rich and the first thing Jeb bush did was get rid of affirmative action.

The only thing good about bush sr was he was not bush jr and he surrounded himself with people who had some sense like Brent Scowcroft and James Baker.

But any presidential democratic contender in the last 60 years was far far etter than bush sr. IMO.
