Neo, I have found over several decades that if I don't wish to be like other people, that is, wrong, it's worth learning and thinking and figuring out what's really going on than just accepting mass dogma as part of the general human Stockholm Syndrome mass hysteria which seems to drive the great majority of people.

If you ask people who believe in Global Warming to explain it, almost none of them can explain the supposed mechanisms even approximately. It is more a matter of belief. Yes, the same thing applies to Global Warming denialists. It took quite a while for me to realize that most people were adopting a position based on their political ideology [left vs right] than on scientific understanding and thinking. Such ideological positions is proof that it's a Stockholm Syndrome/identity formation/tribal belonging process for most people rather than figuring out what the heck is going on.

So, yes, my theories no doubt seem crack-pot to you. I'm happy to be right rather than accepting the correct dogma to avoid seeming crack-pot. I find that approach is good for my financial success and general success in life.

If you think my theory on 72 for this cycle is incorrect, why not take the opportunity to relieve me of a hefty amount of cash? How about this for a fair bet, which would give us even odds if you are right: I bet that this peak will be below the average of 20th century and you bet that it will be above. Let's make it for $100,000 to be meaningful.
