As most of the analysts feel ... It just looks like LEE just wanted to avoid of being taken over by ATT. He just has a passion to be the top guy in a company. Having such a dull person to run such a big company will just choke himself.

"GTE Corp.'s top lawyer said today he's certain the company's $28-billion cash bid to buy MCI Communications Corp. will prevail over WorldCom Inc.'s previous, stock-backed $30-billion offer to merge with MCI." techweb.com Also,ÿ As far as the interview is concerned,ÿ I don't think that Chuck Lee is going to admit to something contractually illegal - such as holding previous talks with BT and MCI.ÿ That would play right into Ebbers hand. Also, as far as personality is concerned - don't forget that BT still owns 20% of MCI. MCI cannot be sold to any company without going through BT (as stated in their agreement).ÿ So what personality do you think BT would rather deal with? Rod
