That's the conundrum- If kitco has 400oz bars why cant the mint get some they say production issues are due to a lack of blanks for stamping- something is just not right they want us to sell@700ish but wont sell to us @ the same price- and small dealers are just marking up take advantage of the alleged "shortage"

The reason I liked IAU is that it bought $1bn worth of gold at the time it started at whatever price was then prevalent, issued the units, then has not bought any additional gold nor issued any additional units. The number of units is supposed to remain stable.

That was the idea, don't know if it has changed. Probably so.

If you own at least 50,000 units, you can go to London and get the physical.
