Forgive me if I disagree. I think that when you form relationships with Kooks and you are asking the American people to elect you as president, you need to explain yourself. That goes for Obama and McCain and I think it is important who you have looked to for advice, who has influenced you and who you are close to.

In fact in my view these can be more important than the issues. Let's be realistic, the so-called issues are just election talking points. They will be a distant memory 10 days after the election. What is important is what these guys will do when they get in office and I suggest that those kinds of associations as well as their record are what counts. I say watch what they do not what they say. Whatever they say is a lie, its what they do that tells you who they are.

Mindmeld come on, that reply was an ill disguised copout and unworthy of you.

I have taken your advice and looked into John Hagee; I find nothing more offensive or malevolent than professing true Christian fundamentalism. Of course within today's secular environment it seems being Christian or Jewish is an offense in itself.

I also re-played the Reverend (sic) Wright's black liberation, anti-white rants, complete with his gratuitous "G_d damn America" comments. If Wright is in fact a practicing Christian, then by almost any Christian standard, his public behavior approaches blasphemy.

There is absolutely no legitimate comparison between John Hagee and Jeremiah Wright. Comparing John Hagee to Rev. Wright is akin to comparing an apple to a turd in a punchbowl.
