Problem I have is the socialist takeover of the banking industry. Now auto wants to be bailed with GM wanting 10 billion. GM MUST go bankrupt. If not they will never get out from under the union obligations and they can NOT survive. Giving them 10 billion won't change that and you might just as well light a fire with it. This whole bailout thing is really pissing me off.

I mean they called the big 9 banks in. They said we are going to buy your stock, give you money and bail you out, sign here.

Head of Wells Fargo said, "I don't want your money, I don't need your money, my bad loans as a percentage are perfectly under control, I have plenty of cash on hand and quite frankly we need some failures and then I can buy up their assets that are worth anything for pennies on the dollar which is how this should work."

Fed says, "Fuck you, this isn't optional, sign the paper work and Sieg Heil." Then clicks his heels together and stretches arm out smartly.

I'm not pleased as you can tell.

Don't even get me going on this mortgage bailout bullshit. Why in the sam hell did I put 50K down on the house I bought 2 years ago and then have been making payments on it? Man am I a dumbass. I could have put 0 down, made no payments, taken a second to 150% of value and then get rescued and written down and better terms. What a dipshit I am.

possibly arno use percentage charts

I always look at the "Avg. True Range" option on stockcharts along with the Traditional chart.

Why?

Who knows?

I sold my gold shares in spring and have been in all cash since then.

I just don't have the time, opportunity, nor the inclination to follow the markets right now.
